Andy Price’s ’71 Chevelle Malibu

I have had this car for about 20 years. The original 307 was quickly yanked and I built up a small block for it.

The Chevelle currently has a 402 bored .030 over, forged pistons, crane cam (552 / 555 lift, 274 / 286 duration), oversized push rods, roller rockers and Edelbrock air gap intake with a Demon carb. I have also installed a 700R tranny and 3.73 Auburn posi.

I re-upholstered the seats with a kit from Year One. The wheels are 17 inch American Racing torque thrust two with four wheel disc brakes behind. The paint was applied in 1996 when I had to replace the wavy left door and fender. The Chevelle is a lot of fun to drive and I get a lot of compliments.
